Sunset Music Festival Continues to Resurrect Festival Season

For a festival named Sunset, it seems way more like a sunrise - the start of a new day for festival-goers as they awaken from the cold dark night of 2020 and the effects of COVID-19.
Sunset Music Festival is back for its 15th year after a long awaited uncertainty of when and how we could meet up and be blasted by bass again. Although this isn’t technically the #firstfestivalback, it will be for many if not most of the attendees. Fans are excited to be back among their friends as well as experiencing the beautiful Universe moments of meeting strangers that turn into lifelong friends.
And it’s comforting to know that throwing the festival is Disco Donnie Presents (DDP), fresh off hosting the actual #firstfestivalback, Ubbi Dubbi. In April, DDP welcomed 60,000 ravers to Ubbi Dubbi’s home in Texas, receiving high praise reviews of the sets, artists and vibe.
Sunset Music Festival is being held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, with three power-house stages and capacity for 65,000 pairs of feet to stomp, shuffle, jump, and ride the rail. Headlining the two night event are Seven Lions and Rezz, ready to hypnotize fans and welcome them back to where they know they belong.
While this isn’t a camping festival, the ample hotels in the area are sure to prove a veritable camping ground for festival goers to shack up, throw their own pre and after parties, and get rave ready. The festival is also located just 6 miles from Tampa’s sandy white beaches, providing ample landscapes to celebrate the approach of summer.
Now that we’re one week away, we couldn’t be more excited to say the weather forecast is in the 90’s. Sure to be classic Florida heat, cooldown areas and juice bars will be offered throughout the festival grounds to help people stay hydrated and refreshed. They even have a “Cool Down Get Down” stage, a “large tent with a stage inside pumped full of frosty air conditioning.” Every moment of the much missed live music will be priceless, and this way, Sunset is ensuring you won’t have to miss out just to cool down.
